MyIron+ was designed for Apple (IOS) and Android smartphones and tablets. It also works on desktop PCs and Macs, too.

We're a charity (non-profit) and Data Controller registered with the Information Commissioner's Office and regulated in the UK. All data is handled in line with the MyIron+ data privacy policy.
The app data is stored in the cloud, securely, in data centres in UK & Europe. These data centres replicate the data across secure locations to ensure that your data is always available, even in the event of a network error or hardware failure.
If you lose your mobile device, the data will be kept safe in the cloud until you sign-in to the app again on another device. You can delete your account and data at any time.
If you want to delete your data, you can do so by navigating to your personal profile within the app, selecting "edit my details" and clicking "delete my details". This operation cannot be reversed - it will delete all your data associated with the app permanently.

Yes. You can upload your existing blood results data from Excel/CSV to get started quickly. The data held in the app can be downloaded at any stage at the click of a button.

MyIron+ includes access to Haemochromatosis UK's award-winning information resources, including videos and explainers on how to prepare for a successful venesection.
MyIron+ also provides access to over 30 clinically approved resources (including topics on diet, joint pain, mental health), to help you live well with genetic haemochromatosis.
For UK residents, the MyIron+ provides specialist nursing appointments* by video or phone call to discuss any queries or concerns you may have with your treatment.
Appointments are provided by our team of specialist Iron Nurses, experienced in all aspects of genetic haemochromatosis treatment. No question is too silly or too hard - just ask!
Appointments are available on weekdays between 9am and 5pm. Simply pick your preferred appointment slot, sit back and relax!

We're working with NHS hospital trusts and venesection clinics to provide MyIron+ to as many genetic haemochromatosis patients as we can.
*Specialist nursing appointments are available free to Haemochromatosis UK members. Non-members can pay-as-you-go for appointments. Or if you're not already a member you can join here.
